Quick & basic Chocolate Pudding

Who doesn't love chocolate?

And who says, being raw vegan means you can't enjoy a nice batch of chocolate pudding?

So here's an easy way to whip up your very own, raw vegan, dairy-free and totally guilt-free Chocolate Pudding :)

Growing up, chocolate pudding looked something like this:

Now, it looks something like this:

Now you tell me which looks better! So many recipes on my blog lately... but this is a really quick one. And more DIYs coming soon! Pinkie Promise :)

Ingredients

1 ripe avocado
1 ripe banana OR 1/2 cup soft dates)
1-4 tbsp raw cocoa powder, to your liking (I used 2 tbsp)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
pinch of salt

also:
- a blending machine or hand-held blender

Instructions

Throw all ingredients into your blender and start blending slow, then increasing to high speed. When the consistency is too thick to your taste, add some water or coconut oil or a little bit of fresh orange juice (which will give you that nice christmassy touch). Scrape your pudding out of your blender and into a mug or jar. You can either eat it right away or - ideally - let it chill in the fridge for a couple hours until the pudding takes on a rich dark chocolaty colour.
That's it! Enjoy :)

  2. This looks awesome! I cannot wait to make this for my daughter who can't eat regular box pudding due to a food dye allergy. Sounds yum! I have featured you at my MBC link party this week. Come check it out! http://nessamakes.com/2014/04/29/5-minute/
